We decided the meeting on Thursday, 6/21/07, would be on SWIG and Tcl. I've been trying to find time to play with it, but time is the one thing I can't make more of.
Then I had yet another of my many brilliant ideas: why not let the whole group work on it? Here is your starting point: http://www.swig.org/Doc1.1/HTML/Tcl.html I hope to still have something substantive myself to present, but, hey, you guys have to be tired of listening to me. I know I am ;-) BTW, and I say this with no cattiness at all, I swear on my mother's 4 eyes, it would be cool if someone (Darren?) could parallel on SWIG/Tcl on M$. Let's see how cross-platform this stuff really is. Parenthetically, it's a bit of a disappointment to me that no one from SDPCUG or the other SIGs has graced our meetings. I console myself by assuming that they see themselves more as app users, rather than their considering Tcl a Linux/Unix thing only. -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-lpsg
