The San Diego Tcl/Tk UG will meet at 7 PM on Thursday, July 19th, at the
Mission Valley campus of the UCSD Extension (intersection of I-8 and
163).

At the last meeting, Darren New challenged us all to come prepared to :

1. say what we had used Tcl/Tk for over the month, and

2. say what we hoped to learn in the group and use it for.

I think this is as good a topic as any.

All SDCS Sig members are encouraged to come down and see what this group
is about. Tcl/Tk is cross platform and can be used for GUI apps, systems
programming, client/server, TCP/IP and HTML programming and just about
anything else. It's relatively easy to learn, scalable, adaptable, and
has
volumes of code examples and functional libraries.

SDTUG meets the third Thursday of each month in the Mission Valley office
of the UCSD Extension (see map) from 7 to 9 PM.
