Well it just seems strange as it is happening quite a bit for kplug,
but not for other mailing lists or conversations where I'm also using
email via gmail.
oh -- I see a lot of it, not just on this list. My 'default'
MUA [Alpine: the email client for touch typists ;) ] message
sort is by 'time of arrival', which I skim the bottom of,
and then re-sort into:
'Subject major' (and it seems to retain the 'time of
arrival' minor order).
with:
<shift> $ s
in Alpine to cull marked cruft off the top and bottom of the
mbox [Thanks, procmail]. If I were inclined, I could adopt
the habit:
<shift> $ d <shift> $ s
which would get me:
'Subject' major, 'date of sender's send' minor.
so I would have both threading, and chronological compose.
It just does not bug me enough to pay the extra three
[double the number !!] keystrokes, I guess.
