First of all, microkernels do not *necessarily* mean that you have
things very compartmentalized. *Multi-server* solutions on top of a
microkernel does. Aside from very limited function security focused
solutions, the counter argument is that the resultant code is so complex
that it ends up being *harder* to ensure correctness. This is far from a
settled debate.
