I can understand Hurd team wanting to do a microkernel.

I can understand them wanting to use the best.

What I can't understand is why 20 years later they are STILL
swapping out microkernels looking for the elusive "right one".

A post here recently praised L4 and then I got excited about a practical
L4/Hurd/Linux drivers project.

All this was dashed when someone said that now Hurd wants to move over to some
new microkernel called Coyotos.

Ahhhhhhhhhh! Will they be swapping out microkernels 20 years from now too?
