Firefox successfully loaded 42 of the 116 links to IPv6 web pages, and 6 of the 10 IPv6 FTP sites. I'm not sure if the 116 links are actually IPv6 or just mention IPv6. Of the 42 that successfully loaded, at least one tells me that I'm coming in via IPv4: http://www.kame.net/ and at least one tells me I'm coming in via IPv6 (tho with a different IPv6 address than reported by ifconfig eth0): http://ipv6gate.sixxs.net/ I don't know which one to believe. 54 of the links (not quite a majority, but the largest subset) of the 116 give me a page that says "Server not found". 15 of the links give me a page that says "Unable to connect". 2 of the links give me a blank page with the URL in the location bar identical to the title. One gives me a blank page (Untitled), but with the URL in the location bar. One says the IPv6 service has closed. One appears to be in German with what seems to be a redirect link to a regular site. -- I hope I never meet a man so narrow minded as to spell a word in only one way. --Thomas Jefferson -- KPLUG-LPSG@kernel-panic.org http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-lpsg
