I will be doing a demonstration of Xandros Desktop on Thursday.

Xandros Desktop OS is an intuitive graphical environment that works
right out of the box and offers unrivaled compatibility with Microsoft
Windows. The new Xandros Business Desktop OS adds enterprise-class
Active Directory and PDC authentication to the peer-to-peer Windows
networking found in the consumer editions.

To do a proper demonstration, I need Windows Applications. I have
already installed Photoshop 6 and Office 97 Pro. With the help of a
volunteer, that knows Photoshop, I'll demonstrate Windows Applications
running on Linux.

Here's where you come in. I need application CDs to test install.
Other than the two I will demo, I only have Peachtree which failed. So
I'm requesting that attendees bring copies of any other Windows
applications they may have to test. This is only a demonstration. The
system will be wiped and reinstalled after the meeting. Some of the
applications listed in the "supported applications" are Dreamweaver
MX, EFax Messenger 2, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Visio, Oracle Jinitator,
Quick Books and Quicken. We can try unsupported software too.

So if you have any Windows software that you would like to test,
please bring it along to the meeting. We'll test whatever we have time
for.
