I've got the following up for grabs:

Sun SPARCstation 5
 * 170MHz TurboSPARC CPU
(sadly, known to be unstable with Linux, works great with *BSD and Solaris)
 * 256MB of RAM (topped out)
 * 2GB and 4GB SCSI drives, internal
 * 16x SCSI CDROM, internal
 * AXP 24-bit framebuffer, unique to SS5 systems.
 * Fast SCSI (50-pin) / Ethernet (10Mbit) card
 * Fast/Wide SCSI (68-pin) / Fast Ethernet (10/100Mbit) card
 * Built-in audio, fast SCSI, Ethernet (10Mbit), dual serial ports

 Worked the last time I tried to use it. Comes with:
* Sun GDM-20E20 20" monitor (very heavy, very big, very nice for its age)
 * Nifty-keen Sun microphone
 * Type 5c Unix-layout Sun keyboard and mouse (mechanical)
 * whatever other bits of Sun I find in my office between now and
   someone (hopefully) taking this machine off my hands.

I've got two of these, BTW, but I need to resolve a boot issue with one of them before I'm comfortable giving it away:

Apple Power Macintosh G3 (Blue & White)
 * 350MHz PowerPC G3
 * 512MB RAM
 * 30GB HD
 * CDROM
 * original usb keyboard & "puck" mouse, for completeness' sake
 * fresh Mac OS X 10.3 load, patched up (10.3.9 and change)
 * Battery on the motherboard _may_ need replacing to get rid of
   system clock warnings when you turn it on if you don't leave
it plugged in. Looks to be the same battery as most PC motherboards.

I have a second Sun GDM-20E20 20" monitor, too, which isn't quite as good picture-wise as the one with the sparcstation above. I also have the appropriate adapters for both of them to connect them to standard SVGA ports on PCs and the PowerMacs.

I have an InWin A500 ATX case with some Asus motherboard with an Athlon Slot-A 500-ish MHz CPU and 128MB (or is it 256BM) of ram. Floppy, some cables, a video card and a network card are also in there. Round it out with some components to make a whole system, or gut it to build a new one.

There's a Viewsonic A75 17" monitor that is in great condition, except for some scratching on the anti-glare coating. I used it as my main display for about a year before I got my LCD this month. The scratches are a little annoying, so you might not want this for a system you'll be spending lots of hours in front of. Happy to demo it for anyone that's interested.

I've also got an SGI Octane, R10k CPU, 512MB RAM, 21" SGI monitor, SGI keyboard (matches monitor) and a MS optical mouse ('cause, well, the SGI takes PS/2 keyboards and mice). It's a beast, and for its size (about 4" shorter and 4" wider than a typical PC mini-tower) it's ungodly heavy (~70lbs or so?). Fresh load of IRIX 6.5 (June 1998 release), single 4GB hard drive. Works great. This one is currently in my office at UCSD, since I ran out of room at home. Please, someone, help a man in need and take this off my hands. :)

Finally, I have an SGI Indigo^2. It seems to be some bastard model between the teal-cased ones and the purple-cased ones... Also has a fresh load of IRIX 6.5, though the graphics subsystem seems to need about 20mins or so to warm up for the display to render clean. Built like a tank (like the Octane). Looks more like an old-school "desktop" case.

It's all free, and in reasonably clean condition and good working order.

There may be more as I get things unpacked in my garage. :)
