I have a spreadsheet that is rather more wide than high. It would be
useful to print it out in landscape format. I can not make Gnumeric
do this. Best I can do is to get the left part of the landscape
output on an 8.5x11 sheet, aligned in portrait orientation. The rest
of the output falls off the right-hand edge of the paper, never to be
seen anywhere.

OK, PDF == Pretty Damned Frustrating. I have been printing to PDF on
the laptop, then sending the result by sftp to the server where the
printer is located. Reading the .pdf file with Acroread. Results as
described above.

If I send the whole Gnumeric file to the server, open it in (same
version of) Gnumeric, and print in landscape, it works. So the
rotation bug is in the PDF generator. Bah.
