I think he was asking not about rpm contents, but about admin files
_used by_ yum, found in various /var/cache/yum/*/headers/ subdirs.

Lan, I don't know the answer, but please pass it along if you find it
(<grin>).

As I understand it, various RPM packages were downloaded using yum.
The apparent object is to install these packages on some other
computer which doesn not have easy net access to a yum repository.
Thus the packages were copied to a CDrom.

Ask Lan for further explanation.
