I am following a tutorial that requires installing packages not found on the SUSE 10.1 DVD. It says that they can be found on the following iso
http://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/d...don-BiArch.iso <http://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1-RC1/non-oss/SUSE-Li nux-10.1-RC1-Addon-BiArch.iso> http://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/d...Arch.delta.iso <http://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1-RC3/non-oss/SUSE-Li nux-10.1-RC1_RC3-Addon-BiArch.delta.iso> These directories no longer exist on kernel.org but I was able to find an alternate source that has all the packages I need: http://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/d...y/inst-source/ <http://mirrors.kernel.org/opensuse/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/ > The only exception is tomcat5. It is found in the depository but unlike other packages that automatically select dependencies, with tomcat an error message says that the dependencies are not found. I tried another source: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distr....1/inst-source <ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.1/inst-source> but I got the same problem. The version in both repositories is 5.0.30. Installing the latest tomcat version by downloading an rpm found on rpm.pbone.net requires many dependencies but also upgrading many packages which I am afraid will affect the rest of the tutorial (instructions in the tutorial may not apply to the newer versions). How do I install a tomcat 5.0 version? Is there a repository that will include the dependencies for an older version? Thank you. -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-newbie
