Nice quote, you replied to the off this topic post from Joe Putegnat... :)
what's the difference between a relay and a mechanical actuator? The
VALVES have a solenoid that turns them on and off at the pipes
themselves, what I'm referring to is called a "timer" or "controller"
and handles up to 6 connections to those valves. I believe the circuit
that actually sends the 24vac to the valves are mechanical relays, but
they're sealed up (since this can be mounted outdoors as well).
