Hope you mean more than "a couple of weeks". At the Bookstore
InstallFest October 7, we found that one of the SUSE distributions
(SLED10, I think) had a disk partitioning program that was able to
resize the NT partition on a 64-bit laptop. I think that was your
problem, but too many things were going on simultaneously for me to
remember the exact details.
