Whoa! This am's paper includes AT&T Offering DSL Internet Service for $10 a month http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20070619/news_1b19dsl.html ..768/128 Kbps down/up, 1yr contract, free modem Bears looking into.
Price per Kbps seems to be same as their next higher-speed offering, 1.5Mbps for $20. Then things level off, 3.0Mbps for $25, 6.0Mbps for $35. Has anyone had experience with an AT&T DSL modem? Does the box provide all the login magic that the DSL line requires, or must the user's computer do some of it?
