Except that the Classmate PC is also aimed at those customers but with
a different approach, and two of its three configurations are based on

Your conspiracy theory about Wintel is about 5 years too old. The
"Win" conspiracy remains, but Intel is thankfully off that boat. I'd
say that Intel's main beef with the OLPC was that it ran an AMD CPU.
