Please excuse. I don't push on the list and that isn't my intent. I have been selling JetBooks for 10 years. They have been offering them with no OS all that time also. Linux runs well on them as their focus is to provide a solid fast platform and wait on the new stuff a bit. So - Good mainstream parts.
It was fairly easy to become a reseller also. Support = the best, Resellers have direct line to level 2. www.jetta.com. Your Price = My cost +10%. Example a Promo on Now Jetbook 1637C for $619. + 62+45+35 == $761 at your door (+-) . Promo ID:PROMO0369 Description:• 15.4" 1280 x 800 Wide Screen Brite View • Intel Celeron M530 1.73GHz Processor • Intel GMA X3100 Graphics Adapter • 1GB 667Mhz DDR-II Memory • DVDRW Optical Drive • 80GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive • Wireless 3945 802.11BG Network Connection • Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Again my apologies - hope this doesn't feel like a sales pitch. It's just what I know and what I can offer. Jackson On Jan 7, 2008 11:55 PM, Darrel N. Lawrence <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I am thinking of buying a laptop for home use.
