What is it you're trying to accomplish by saving the emails outside of
Thunderbird itself?

A friend of mine can view the graphics I send but when she tries to
forward, the pictures are lost. She says if she gets the message and
pictures as an attachment, then she can forward them to her family in
Germany. .pps; .wmv; .jpg; .html are all OK. So all I want to do is
save stuff in another format instead of .eml.
