Looking at Carl's email, I can confirm that gmail got confused and labeled his attachment as application/octet-stream, which we generally don't want to allow to the lists anyway.

Though, I did have the thought that we should double-check that multipart/mixed is on the approved list, too.

Maybe, if an option exists, send a notice when an attachment is stripped?
