SDCS Members, I'd like to thank everyone who attended the SDMUG meeting last night. We appreciate your input and your patience during the discussions.
For those of you who could not attend the meeting, you should be aware that the SDMUG members have voted to sever their relationship with The San Diego Computer Society. The paperwork should be finalized by next week. The new SDMUG will continue to be associated with SDCS in so far as working in the community, but will no longer be financially tied to SDCS, the corporation. Many of the current SDCS Board members, myself included, have chosen to stay on to help steer SDCS on a path of success. Communication is important during this critical time in the evolution of SDCS. We expect to see a representative from each of the SIGs at the next SDCS Board meeting on 5-25-05 (as required in the SIG Guidelines). We will announce the time and place of the meeting at a later date.
