Nope, I'm the membership chairman. But I don't plan to do anything about
it until I get back from China on 7/15. If I get back to find that I've
been unseated in a coup, my first act will to be to take the
conspirators out for a thank-you drink.

Barring that happy eventuality, I will take all the input (Claude's data
base, Gus's old data base, current input from the sigs) and through the
magic of perl, shell script, and Tcl/Tk, primp the data and then
populate a Postgres data base.

I will them publish appropriately (mostly Sig numbers for SDCS voting
statistics) and plan with the board a mailing to reintroduce SDCS to the
life members.

Assuming all that's done before the Superbowl, I may actually raise the
issue of promoting new memberships and new sigs with the board.

On the seventh day I will rest.

Question: Does SDCS have a published privacy policy? If so, where?
