Should I post this to the main list, or are there enough volunteers here to take care of this?
-------------------------- Original Message -------------------------- Subject: Desktop Linux Summit and KDE From: "Wade Olson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sun, March 5, 2006 7:20 pm ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello all, Please let me introduce myself: I'm on the Marketing Working Group for KDE, and I'll be speaking at the upcoming Desktop Linux Summit (http://desktoplinuxsummit.com/) on April 24-25th in San Diego. Linspire has graciously offered KDE a booth at the Summit; however, I may be the only representative from KDE. Which is why I'm emailing you all: If anyone would like to help me staff the booth, or has any ideas on how I can take advantage of this offer, it would really be appreciated. Further, I think that a strong Linux community presence is a great idea in and of itself. Unfortunately, I have to let Linspire know quickly if we will be able to staff the booth, so the sooner I hear back, the better. Ideally, several people would be available for each day, allowing people to rotate and see talks. Thanks and I hope to meet some of you in a month or so!
