I was contacted today by an Ingres representative to verify the
meeting and presentation Thursday. I told her the following agenda.

6:30 - 7:00 test and configure computers to function with projector
in
room 401
7:00 - 7:15 General Anouncements
7:15 - 7:30 Short presentation
7:30 - 8:30 Ingres Presentation
8:30 - 8:40 Raffle
8:40 - 9:00 Q & A

Any comments?

I like the time blocks.

On weeks when we have dozens of books, the 10m raffle probably will
expand, to longer, though.

Alternative for future consideration:
  7:30-8:30 presenation
  8:30-8:4? Q&A
  8:4?-9:00 raffle
arguable benefits: only one major attention-change rather than two

I had though of that. How much time do you think we should alot for
the raffle? 2 minutes per book, perhaps? To tight a schedule and we'll
not complete everything.

Don't know, but it seems like it sometimes drags, especially toward the end, and most especially if some of the prizes seem second-class.

However, if pressed, a commanding raffle-meister like Gus can probably hustle things along.

Time & motion observations: it could possibly be expedited by
1. stationing the ticket bowl adjacent to the prizes, or
2. having a runner verify/take the ticket and having a designated next-ticket-drawer
