In case it's any help, I got this in response to a login submission from the home page: - - - Proxy Error The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request POST /login_form. Reason: Error reading from remote server Apache/2.0.54 (Debian GNU/Linux) PHP/4.3.10-21 Server at www.kernel-panic.org Port 80 - - - I understand upstream server to mean zope on the zope-port. Hmmm, could this be something in the xen plumbing??? Even when it does return pages it's v_e_r_y__v__e__r__y__s_l_o_w. :-( It would no doubt be interesting, informative, and very likely useful to know what's happening, but if it turns out troublesome to repair.. ..maybe this is the time to build a new codebase sparky3 image. Maybe installing afresh, possibly (hopefully) with a newer zope & plone will leapfrog more than one problem. Given the capabilities of xen, it should even be possible to migrate the web and let mail follow later, since mail seems ok now -- eh? What say you XYZ (xen/yplone/zope) masters? What say anyone? (the y is silent) Regards, ..jim -- KPLUG-Steer@kernel-panic.org http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-steer
