Is there any other way to figure out if the kernel-panic.com domain is available?

Every once and a while I check kernel-panic.com to see if it has become
available. Right now a whois lookup doesn't show anything, but trying to
go to the web site gives me a redirect to some windows spyware which
means there is a DNS entry somewhere along the chain.
