You perhaps were picking the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays -- but looking a June calendar instead of July? In July, it would be the 12th and 19th -- but those are both scheduled installfest days.
Oops...you are right.
I'm going to be away some time around and after the 4th, so the end of the month looks better for me.
Yeah, I figure most people already have plans for the 4th.
How does a Sunday sound instead of a Saturday? Maybe the 20th.
Sure, Sunday works for me. And the 20th looks good. So let's make that the date if we don't hear any serious objections in the next couple days.
Is not alcohol prohibited these days on SD beaches?
I don't drink anyway. BYOB can be Bring Your Own Burgers.
I suppose I could survive without a beer, but it seem like a picnic without beer is like a umm, .. a picnic without beer. :-(
We can always pick a different venue than the beach if beer is really an issue.
2) How does one go about reserving space (if one can)
I thought at the beach you just had to show up first and lay claim. Anyone know otherwise? There are plenty of parks and such around SD.
I was going to suggest we all crash your wedding, but I believe that's going to be in Vietnam?
You are all welcome to crash the wedding. Seriously. If anyone wants to go we would be happy to have you. We are going to spend the next week and a half after the wedding traveling around VN which everyone is welcome to join in on as well. It's an expensive ticket and a long trip though. :)
Oh well, congratulations and best wishes, anyway!
