Why don't we make it the upcoming speakers' responsibility to acquire the
projetor from the last speaker and keep it until the next speaker takes it?

This way no one has to do it full time and no one has to come to ALL meetings.

Furthermore, the speaker will be very motivated to get the projector early and
check things over so that he/she doesn't suffer the dreaded 20min in front of
the audience while projector bugs are sorted out.... this system therefore also
has a nice benefit for audiences.

I have a better suggestion.

Why don't we just make *you* responsible for making sure the projector is there for every meeting?
