That's a nice offer, thanks.
And I'll volunteer to participate in a clean-the-grill project. Would
you do something like that immediately afterwards? at home? the next
day? What needs to be contributed besides labor and willingness to get
dirty (eg old clothes, I suppose).

I seem to recall at least one picnic where computers were forbidden.
Possibly, a concession to family togetherness?

I like beer, but I'd rather a picnic without beer than the other way around.

 technical aside: what's the best way to do ad-hoc projects like this?
 A temporary list? Wiki? Something (list/wiki/?) with a moderator?
 Use the existing list (eg -steer), inviting broader (temporary?)
 participation?
