Jim Doyle has been researching projectors for the PC Users Group, and has come up with the following as a likely candidate. Viewsonic PJ551D <http://www.viewsonic.com/products/projectors/PJ551D/> Various places are selling it for just under $600. The Viewsonic web page claims "Free Projector Lamp with Purchase" but I don't see any way to invoke that. Just found the rebate form on line. The deal expires September 30. There does not seem to be any restriction on where you buy the projector. By next Tuesday I should be in position to write checks on the KPLUG Wells Fargo account. carl -- carl lowenstein marine physical lab u.c. san diego [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- KPLUG-Steer@kernel-panic.org http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-steer
