What I mean is that if the engine didn't start quickly, the battery would not have enough reserve to get the job done. The numbers I find on it are 44 366 and N317KT. I called Sears but they could not give me the CCA or Ah ratings for this battery but they did tell me this battery was still available. The battery measures about 7"X6" and is about 4 inch deep and weighs 14 lbs. It is a wet lead acid capped motorcycle battery. I want to keep at or below the weight and size as my battery sits on the firewall and my plane is already a pig. I have been checking out these new AGM type batteries because they are both sealed and have a very long storage life rating. Important for our hanger queens. The AGM batteries also seem to weigh less then the typical motorcycle/auto battery. Ok, I would really like to hear your feedback and experience on what battery you have, it's weight, size and how well it starts your 2180 or larger KR-2 engine.
