KRnetHeads,

I'm going to throw this out as a lesson learned, and people can do what they
want with it. I was looking through the brake master cylinders tonight (trying
to identify mine), and have spent time looking at caliper prices when I needed
spare parts for the Clevelands on N56ML. Don't let price be your guide on
these. Clevelands are just plain obscenely priced. High price does not
necessarily mean higher quality. My experience with Matco cylinders and
calipers is that they are high quality. You can pay over $500 EACH for a
Cleveland brake cylinder, or you can pay $105 for a comparably rated Matco.
Other contenders such as Tracy Obrien and Grove offer similar savings. Another
example is wheels...you can pay $25 for an Azusa wheel with bearings, or you
can pay $1050 for a Cleveland wheel the same size. You can buy four Azusa
wheels for the price of one Cleveland wheel cover! The Asuzas aren't quite the
work of art of a Cleveland, but I'm pretty sure they are lighter, just fine for
KR work, and you're going to hide them under wheel pants anyway. Don't think
you have to spend big bucks to get good brakes...
