We did it! I finally got to fly in a KR 2S! And let it be known to the world, Joe Horton is a great guy! But then many of you alredy knew, I guess? He also took my son flying and he is still smiling from ear to ear. It was definitely more of a kick to him than dads Airbus. A few things came out of our visit to Quackertown. 1. I need to get my finger out and start building, and 2. my engine is too small. Joes Corvair sounds great, but they are rear to come by in Europe. O 200s are available but costly. Jabiru 3300 would also be good. So now I need to make my mind up, because building the cowl is the next big undertaking in my project. I still hope I can make it to the gathering, but that is up to my employers scheduling department.
