And now I can officially say that gussets SUCK! ?Dan, you are right. There is nothing wrong with plywood gussets. Next time I'll no better. Just a note. If you are building the new airfoil, You'll need more spruce for the virtical members then what comes in the kit. A?suggestion. ?Fax the spruce inventory list that comes in the plains to Wicks and tell them to use it instead of their list. There list is out dated or something. ?I ended up with $400 of extra wood that I didn't need. ?Eric said to just keep it and make sure I didn't need it. He did match Aircraft Spruces price.?
