Hi Pat
Thanks for the reply.
Please don't misunderstand me, I am pretty sure that the instruments you
have are worth the money that you want for them but, as I told you, they are
pretty dated and I would not use them if I built the lancair to completion.
I will be using two Ipads as described earlier. A friend of mine has one of
the new whisper X aircraft which is basically a glass RV7. This aircraft is
capable of 192KTS+ and is equipped with the top of the range MGL EFIS as
well as an Ipadrunning the "levelit" software. He says that he just about
never uses the EFIS because the Ipad is better and is more readable in
sunlight.

I do think that your total price in general is pretty fair. Those are all
certified components and would probably find a home in some certified plane
here someday should I end up with them but not in the lancair if I completed
it.

Another possibility would be for you to put a value on the instruments that
I am not interested in and deduct that from your price. You could advertise
those separately and sell them off to whoever wanted them.

I will be meeting with the chap that is interested in partnering with me on
this project today and will discuss it with him again.

I do have one other prospective partner that I really didn't want to partner
up with but will ask him if all else fails.

I will keep you informed.

When I quote a price for the parts that I'm trying to get rid of; It is
based upon the fact that I would like to get what I can get for them so I
can keep the Drs in the luxury that they have become used to. However if
you don't think they are fair, shoot me a price, maybe we can haggle.
Thanks.
