(inop intercom) So, after missing an hour flight in the KR in smooth air, missing a breakfast with my flying buddies, getting my pants and shirt soaked with rancid oil, (my favorite 20 year old work shirt ruined), stinking up the house and upsetting the wife, I found the problem to be a tiny little two position slide switch on the side of the intercom that had gotten slid to the wrong position while changing the battery. It had been 10 years since I set the switch and had totally forgotten it was even there. Simply sliding the switch to the correct position fixed everything and the intercom is working like new again. Now I have to re-tie the wire bundle from the control panel to the baggage area where the intercom is mounted. Oh well, considering all the options, life is still good....:-)
