Hi Gary, Camp Scholler is the campground, depending on when you get there depends on how far up front you can get. They do have tram/bus service in Scholler to pick you up almost anywhere and transport you up front. Your other choice is the U of W dorms. They usually have cancellations so if you want to "camp indoors", it is another choice. We checked in several years ago and they said they had no rooms; the next table over was taking cancellations so we stepped over there and got a room for every night; even though we had to move rooms every day.
Scholler is as close or closer than the North 40 camping. Trams run everywhere. Have fun!!
