Mark Langford and I made it home from Oshkosh where Mark presented the KR builders forum. Good job Mark.
We drove (a 12 hour trip for mark, 7.5 for me) due to weather and arrived Sunday mid day. We were put up at a 5 star camp site hosted by Larry Howell and his lovely bride. They provided separate tents for each of us, complete with everything we needed. They feed us three delicious meals including steak with fried potatoes and onion before our departure Monday evening. Mark got me home by 2:30 AM and he made his house by 7:00 AM. He had been up 27 hours by that point. Talk about going above and beyond for the KR crowd. Can't thank Larry Howell enough for the AWESOME hospitality he showed Mark and I. Thanks Larry.......... Hope everyone enjoys their time at Oshkosh. That place is overwhelming!!! I purchased a Matco 6 inch pneumatic tail wheel while there and this morning I took my Aviation Products tail wheel assembly to the welder to have it modified to take the slightly larger wheel. I think a 1.25 inch extension of the fork rod is all it will take. I'll let you know how that turns out. No more tail wheel rumble I hope. Larry Flesner
