Evening Matt, I just hauled the KR2 that I bought from Missouri to Austin. The Uhaul bigger vehicle trailer worked very well. You can't tell them that it is an airplane. I just told them that it was a VW van. Check out the trailers at any place close by. they have 2 types. one type has a hinge on one of the fenders so that when you lay the fender down, the stub wings have 2 inches of clearance when you load the a/c about 3 inches off center to the side. If you have a taildragger, you will need to raise the tail about 16 inches on a platform but that also makes room for the wings to fit under the fuselage. The wheels will need to be strapped down, like the tail wheel, and the wings will need to be wrapped in blankets. It really worked well for me but remember the nose will tip if raised so ALWAYS have a solid hold of the tail when moving it.
Good Luck. Rene Ffrench in Austin N44774 - 512-547-7164 On 10/19/14, Randy Moore Newbern Tn.
