This is a screaming bargain. When I built my wings I bought floor
sanding sheets that are something like 12"x18" and cut them into strips,
glued them to an aluminum I-beam, and used that...but the joints between
strips kept coming loose, which made it a bit painful. 3" continuous
strips would be just the ticket. Of course 50 yards is way too much
for one plane and the associated shipping is burdensome, so somebody
ought to buy the 24 or 36 grit rolls and resell them as 5 yard rolls to
make them (and shipping) more affordable to KR builders. I have samples
of this stuff and the adhesive on the back of what I have is plenty good
to stick to a piece of aluminum angle.
