Yes, the KR is a really nice cross country aircraft.  However, like many GA
aircraft, and more importantly, like most GA pilots, if you and it are not
IFR rated and current, you will most likely be having big trouble depending
on it for travel on a schedule.  IFR is the key to being able to get to
where you need to be at a specific time.  



And when it comes to engines, pay attention to Jeff.  Don't mess around with
your engine and don't skimp.  As he says, it is YOUR ass in the seat.
