This is how I did it. On my first KR, I attached the shoulder straps to cables running back to the tail wheel. I then heard of someone almost getting strangled with them in an accident where the tail was sheared off, so came up with this solution. In the incident after the 2013 Gathering, which was a "semi crash" the belts saved me from virtually any bodily harm.
