Maybe a tensile test at 80 percent of the yield strength would satisfy any fears of internal corrosion? Seems a shame to toss them out arbitrarily without knowing if they are internally corroded . Just a thought as I have a few in my KR2S ,as I recall. I use them on the rudder horn where appearance of the swaged type is better. And I recall using a swaged cable at the aileron bellcrank where is goes through the rear spar. Hmmm..? Chris Gardiner C GKRZ
