I share this story hoping that it will help;I found a friend that has an airstrip in his back yard and I build a 40 x50 hanger out of used chicken barn trusses and used metal for around $4000. ?I did most of the work myself including welding the folding 40 foot doors, that saved a lot of money and instead of a concrete floor I covered the ground with an all weather chemical resistant tarp.? My KR2 is suspended from the rafters with plenty of room to work on it.? Maybe there is a similar hanger solution for you or something even better! Next I need to live closer to the airport.? Joe
