I'm way overdue on this, but it's clear to me that a lot of folks haven't read the list rules, and if they did, they don't want to bother following the list rules. Please read (and abide by) the rules at http://www.krnet.org/info.html , especially the "KRNetiquette" part. Key on that list is to delete most of the prior poster's comments, so the same message doesn't end up being repeated five or six times, making searching the archive a major pain in the butt. Smartphone users are the worst. It's just plain lazy and inconsiderate not to do that. It's not just my pet peave...you are punishing the next generation of KR builders to save yourself a few seconds of effort. It's great that you have a smartphone...now figure out how to use it and delete most of the previous post.
Another key one is to keep private conversations private. Selling KR stuff on KRnet is a great thing, but once negotions start, it needs to go private. The most effective way to sell something is to start out with a very good description of exactly what you have, and equally important, where the stuff is. That's a huge factor to anybody who might be considering buying it. One more thing is some kind of signature so we have a clue who's doing the talking. "Bob" doesn't get it. Some idea of who you are and where you live (even if it's just "Indiana") would be appreciated. I shouldn't have to explain this...it's right there at http://www.krnet.org/info.html. I have been known to lose my mind and start throwing flagrant violators off the list. Call me what you want, but I have my limits... -- Mark Langford ML at N56ML.com http://www.n56ml.com
