Joe Wallace said; from experience, an ongoing organization must have a solid base and not all responsibility on one or a few?
>From experience, and many surveys, I can say that if you have 100 members in a group or club, 10 or less will be the mainstay and do all the work. I guess I can include myself in the 90% along with a whole lot of the rest of us, but it's not so much not wanting to help as it is not having any guidance as to what needs done. Asking for volunteers will not work because 90% of the 90% will figure, someone else will do it. We need a structured leadership that can say what needs to be done and then ask for volunteers with the skill level needed to get the job done.
