I used a Bull Ring tie down sometimes used on pick up trucks. These are
fully retractable. Bought a pair at Wal-Mart. Discarded most of the anchor
stuff and made a bracket from bent-up 0.060 6061. The mounting bracket is
bolted through the top and bottom spar cap with AN-3 bolts and a backup
plate with captive nut plates on the aft side, about 6-feet outboard of the
WAF behind the landing lights. On the pick up truck the ring stays
retracted with gravity. On my inverted installation a small spring keeps
the ring retracted flush with the wing skin. A small indentation allows me
to grab the ring to pull it out for any practical size rope. The chrome
ring will latch in the extended position just like the pickup truck
installation. The Bull Ring specs say that each ring is rated for 1,000
pounds direct pull.

I'm searching or some tie down attach points. What have you KR builders
found to work well? What was used and where/how installed?
Thanks,
Gary
