Good Morning Paul,
?
Good to hear from you, thank you for the
email.? Keep up the good work.? You have a Corvair, please send your N
Number so I can do a preliminary check please.
?
The log books I see usually have sparse
entries.? You should have installation of engine, functional checks, i.e.
engine installed, engine first run, rpm reached, mag check ok and/or any
discrepancy such as rough engine, fluid leaks, and corrective action.? Each
entry should have time in service, 0 since you have not flown, date,?your
certificate, such as A&P, Private Pilot, Student Pilot, etc.?and your
certificate number.? Two seater requires log entries for ELT installation,
check and test and battery expiration date as described in FAR 91.207, if
transponder it needs a static and tech. inspection.
?
I will send my info sheet after this, more good
info for you.
?
Best, Frank

  Subject: Log book entries

  Hi Frank,
It's been a couple of years since I have talked to you.?
I'm building a KR-2S. Been working on it for just over two
  year.?
The question I have is about logbook entries.?
I have been listening to the EAA webinars and have learned alot.
Now the only thing I put into my builders log is close out inspections
and progress check by Paul Voorhees ?(Chapter 64 tect advisor A&PI).
I have been taking alot of pictures with me in it to prove the 51%
  amateur-built rule.?
Is this enough? ?Is there anything else ?I can do to make the
  final paperwork process easier.?
Also, I remembered an email you sent me with common errors that builder's
?make. Can you sent this to me again.
  Thanks you, ?progress picture enclosed.
