Decide first what's best for the engine to 
produce power, then exit wherever necessary, at 
whatever angle you must while creating the least 
amount of drag possible.  No long pipes sticking 
out in the slipstream to create drag.  Any angle 
facing to the rear just outside the cowl will 
help to evacuate the
