The one thing I may have done wrong, was to use the larger diameter tubing.
With my Matco, I use the 1/8" line and it is perfect. Tracy sent it with the
brakes, but I had never used a small line like that. Also, my existing tubing
was very old. Thus why I said that it could have been from a bad installation
on my part.

Dan, that's good to know. I bought my tracy O'Brien wheels and brakes from
your friend. I will have to test them when I run my engine in a couple weeks.

I had them and found them to be un-usable, either due to a poor installation on
my part or not such good brakes. I have Matco now and would not use any other
system. They are the only ones that would hold my KR on run-up, not only with
the VW, but with a 2700 Corvair.

Tracy also used some odd ball sized fittings, which would be enough for me to
NOT recommend them.

Gents,

My airplane will be heavier than most of the KR's, max gross will be
1250-1300 lbs. I would like to put Tracy O'Brien's Premium 5" wheels with their
C90 brakes but these wheels are limited to 1200 lbs. gross according to the
website. Is there anybody flying a heavier KR with these wheels and if yes, any
experienced issues?

Thanks in advance,

Stefan
