Mark, I have attached a few drawings for an attachment plates I made and installed on my KR2S. I cut the Grumman legs from the widest point to 4 1/8" widening to 5"s, 10's from the top. Then from that 5" point to 2 1/4" and the lower end of the gear leg. It seems to be the right configuration for a 700 lb + aircraft. With all the folks leaning on my plane at last year's gathering it held up pretty well.
