KR Gathering has been announced in the most recent EAA email. EAA to Attend KR-2 Gathering this Friday/Saturday The annual KR-2 Gathering is set to take place in Mount Vernon, Illinois September 16-17 at Mount Vernon Airport. The event is for KR-2 enthusiasts, builders, and pilots to exchange ideas, learn more about the homebuilt airplane, talk to pilots and other builders, and take pictures to assist in the building process.
EAA's Homebuilt Community Manager, Charlie Becker, will be there both days to help with aircraft judging and present a forum on Homebuilt Registration and Certification. For more information, see the KR Gathering website. Adam Tippin A&P KR2S builder
